The tiny census tract south of Joyce station is the most densely populated in Metro Vancouver that I could find at 39951.5 people per square kilometre.

Interesting, and looking at the map, the location of Wall’s 3 tower project falls within it, meaning by the next census there will be at least another 1000 people living within the same area, thus shooting the pdpsk even higher.

we should be conscious of how the census tracts themselves – their shape, size, etc. – impact the density as well as the real neighbourhood density does. Not many would think of the Collingwood area as overall super dense, but because this census tract is drawn only around the towers and not around surrounding single-family housing, it shows up as super dense.
