Vancouver is Hiring

Given the state of the economy these days, this is news – by way of Brent Toderian, the City of Vancouver’s Planning Director:

After several years of a general hiring freeze (during which time positions were not impossible, but were rare…), our Vancouver Planning Department is staffing up …  I frequently get the best candidates through this kind of “word-of-mouth!” Please feel free to forward to whomever might have an interest.

The positions in the attached link range from a brand new and very exciting Deputy Director of Planning position, to a Senior Planner position in our Central Area/DTES, to several development planner/architect positions, all the way to planning assistant and project facilitator positions. Busy times for us!
