In this City Program video, Niels Tørsløv, the Traffic Director of Copenhagen, explains the remarkable strategies that have made Copenhagen one of the healthiest and most cycling-oriented (they’re connected) cities in the world. (A study says the Danes are the happiest people in the world too – no doubt another connection!)

Besides their transportation policies, Copenhagen is also building some great modern architecture, which is something else Vancouver could use.
Just considering the trip to and from work, did the presenter have any figures on the average distances that cycle commuters travel from home to work and back again?
