Here’s Rob Richings favourite passerelle – the Millennium Bridge in Newcastle, UK – mentioned in the Observer article.
The bridge deck is curved when down, and pivots up to let river marine traffic through.

What a picture. Can I buy a copy? My son is at Newcastle Uni and wants a picture of the bridge for Christmas and this is the best one I have seen.
